Welcome to my website!
I am a doctoral candidate in Sociology at Brown University, United States.
My current academic interests are: class, race, ethnicity; international migration; social theory; (community-based) teaching pedagogies, and urban sociology.
I am currently working on two projects. The first looks at how ethnic and racial diversity, and processes of urban restructuring, shape social capital, social cohesion and intergroup relations at the neighborhood level. The second looks at how (international) migration aspirations and capabilities are shaped by individual and structural inequalities related to class, race, and ethnicity.
